Incoming this weekend: China, Mexico, and Canada Tariffs

On January 31, 2025, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that President Trump will be moving forward with tariffs on Mexico, China, and Canada starting on Saturday, February 1, 2025. The Press Secretary also confirmed that the tariffs would be 25% on goods from Mexico and Canada, and 10% on goods from China. There is no word so far on exclusions from the tariffs, which are expected to cover all goods. At the present, there is precious little information regarding what the rollout of the tariffs will look like. More information will be available when the changes are made available for public inspection on Saturday. Stay tuned for updates as the situation develops.
