Admiralty and maritime law
Cargo claims, demurrage and detention, bills of lading, ship arrests, carrier and intermediary terms.
Admiralty law governs maritime questions, and much of the commercial activity before and after the ocean leg. The firm limits its practice to commercial matters: ocean cargo claims and defenses, the contracts that move cargo, and the disputes between carriers, intermediaries and shippers. It does not handle personal injury (Jones Act) cases.

A call or an email costs nothing and gives an attorney the facts of your matter. We will tell you the fee, or the fee options, before any work begins. Some matters are hourly, some flat fee, and currency seizures are contingency.
