Tariffs and duty refunds
Section 232, Section 301, IEEPA refunds through CAPE and the Court of International Trade.
Tariff rules have changed faster since 2025 than at any time in the firm's history. The firm's lawyers follow them daily and publish what matters in Insights. Whether the question is a classification that decides which rate applies, an exclusion request, an overpayment, or a refund that CBP will not pay without a court order, the firm has handled it.
The IEEPA refund work is the largest example. After the Supreme Court held the emergency-powers tariffs unlawful in February 2026, the firm filed protective actions at the Court of International Trade for importers whose entries had finally liquidated, and it works through CBP's CAPE system for the rest.
